Donald Trump is projected to have won the battleground state of North Carolina in the US election.
This is good news for the Trump campaign, as it gains them 16 electoral college votes and puts the former US president on the path to securing 270 votes needed to win.
But the majority of the other swing states have yet to be called, meaning things could still tilt in Kamala Harris’s favour.
