US Election: What the New Hampshire primary means for the Republican nomination | BBC News

Donald Trump has won the New Hampshire primary, defeating his last remaining rival for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

The former president last week won a landslide in Iowa’s caucuses, with Haley placing third, behind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Haley has vowed to press on with her campaign in the wake of a second consecutive loss to Trump.

Trump now appears set to clinch the Republican nomination.

The BBC’s Katty Kay joins The Context to discuss what we can expect from the rest of the 2024 campaign.
