US President Joe Biden has held his first face-to-face meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
The leaders discussed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, with both countries agreeing the threat or use of nuclear weapons was “totally unacceptable.”
Mr Biden said both the US and China are committed to keeping peace with Taiwan, adding he "absolutely" believed there would not be a new Cold War with China.
The pair met in Bali, Indonesia, ahead of the G20 leaders’ summit, which starts on Tuesday.
