US President Joe Biden has said he is “looking forward” to getting back on the campaign trail next week, after testing positive for Covid-19.
But, despite his commitment to stick in the race ahead of the US election, more Democrats have called for him to step aside as the party nominee.
In recent weeks, Biden has been caught in a whirlwind of political pressure to step down, but in announcing his return to the campaign, he said “The stakes are high, and the choice is clear. Together, we will win”.
