The US president wants to strengthen the ties between both countries and said it was "time that Washington and Seoul invest in each other".
On his visit, the American president met with South Korea’s new leader Yoon Seok-youl to discuss the growing concern amid sabre-rattling in the region by China and North Korea, as well as the latest Covid outbreak.
