US President Donald Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have signed "the largest defence sales agreement in history" during Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia, the White House has said.
During a speech on stage in Riyadh, Trump called the crown prince "an incredible man", adding the US-Saudi bond is "more powerful than ever".
The agreement is worth nearly $142bn (£107bn) and includes providing Saudi Arabia with "state-of-the-art warfighting equipment and services from over a dozen US defence firms".
Trump is on the first leg of a major diplomatic four-day tour to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE.
