Buon quarto posto per la Ferrari di Charles Leclerc che, dopo un buon avvio, deve arrendersi alla superiorità di Norris. Lewis Hamilton, partito diciottesimo, non va oltre un quindicesimo posto. Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes), invece, chiude in diciassettesima posizione. Entrano in zona punti Esteban Ocon (Haas), Carlos Sainz (Williams), Oliver Bearman (Haas) e Isack Hadjar (Racing Bulls). Alle 16 appuntamento con le qualifiche.
