Poland has increased border security in anticipation of Russian Wagner mercenaries relocating to neighbouring Belarus.
The border between the two countries, which was once marked by wooden look-out posts, has been transformed in recent years with miles of metal fencing and thermal imaging cameras.
With the prospect of Wagner members moving to Belarus, armed guards patrolling the border have been stepped-up.
"Maybe Wagner will be a problem, but no one really knows why they’re going there or what they’re preparing for", Michal Bura of the local border guard said.
