What happened to Chile’s lost children? | BBC News


Thousands of Chilean children were stolen from their mothers during the military rule of Augusto Pinochet and sent abroad for adoption.

Some 20,000 children were adopted by foreign couples during the Pinochet era, but some activists believe that number is much higher.

BBC Tech Now’s Ione Wells explores the search for Chile’s stolen children, and asks if tech can help families find answers?
