US President Donald Trump’s most trusted aide, Susie Wiles, is the subject of a huge spread in Vanity Fair magazine this week, in which she speaks candidly about her job, her boss and many of the senior administration officials that she has to deal with.
In a series of interviews, she described Trump as having an "alcoholic’s personality", Elon Musk as an "odd, odd duck" and the vice-president JD Vance as a "conspiracy theorist".
We speak to our North America correspondent, Anthony Zurcher, about her comments and the reaction from those Wiles makes claims about.
Anthony also talks about the reaction in Washington to President Trump’s comments about the murder of the Hollywood director, Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle.
