Why are protesters in Iran demanding ‘Women, Life, Freedom’? – BBC News

On September 13, 22 year old Mahsa Amini died after being detained by Iran’s morality police for allegedly violating strict laws requiring women to cover their hair with a headscarf, or hijab.
