Ukraine’s largest energy firm has called on the West to stop buying gas and oil from Russia.
Yuriy Vitrenko, who runs Naftogaz, said everything should be done to stop the Putin regime from receiving any revenues and hinder the war from spreading.
However, Russian oil and gas exports are exempted from Western sanctions for now.
Europe gets 40% of its gas from Russia and there are concerns about deepening economic as traders snapped up non-Russian oil.
