Sultana Ashiq caught Covid when she was nearly 31 weeks pregnant and spent 46 days in intensive care. Her twins were born by Caesarean section while she was in a coma.
Sultana, who is form the UK, was ineligible for the vaccine at the time, but is calling on expectant mothers to get vaccinated.
The number of pregnant women with the virus who need the most serious critical care is growing, according to NHS England and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
