Zelensky sacks top Ukraine army officials following corruption allegations – BBC News


Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has fired all of the country’s regional heads of military enlistment, following corruption allegations.

In an announcement, Zelensky said “cynicism and bribery at a time of war is high treason”.

The news comes as Kiev conscripts Ukrainians to fight in the country’s counteroffensive against Russia.
