Crowds line streets to pay final respects to Brazil football legend Pele – BBC News

Thousands of people have lined the streets of Santos in Brazil to pay their final respects to Pele, ahead of a private burial.

His coffin, draped in the Brazilian flag, was carried from the ground of his former club, where he had been lying-in- state, through the streets in a final public procession.

Pele died last week at the age of 82, and is considered by many to be the greatest footballer of all time.
