Manfred Goldberg is a 91-year-old Holocaust survivor, who was liberated from a concentration camp when he was 15.
He is one of seven survivors to have their portrait commissioned by Prince Charles and put on public display in Buckingham Palace.
The paintings are a memorial to the six million Jewish people who died in the Holocaust.
Events will take place around the UK and the world to mark Holocaust Memorial Day on 27 January.
Watch Survivors: Portraits of the Holocaust, BBC Two and BBC iPlayer, tonight at 9pm.
