What might happen next in the conflict in Ukraine? After Moscow was hit in rare drone attacks yesterday, Russia said it reserves the right to take the "harshest possible measures" in response.

The Kremlin’s blaming Ukraine for the attack – officials in Kyiv have denied responsibility. The assault on Moscow came soon after Russia targeted Kyiv for the third night running, with Ukrainian officials saying more than 20 drones had been destroyed.

Does this represent a new phase in the war, perhaps ahead of Ukraine’s much trailed counter-offensive?
